New to the village is Village TradeWinds, Inc. The store focuses on furnishings and giftware. Island ambience is complemented with Napa style furniture for entertaining; resort sportswear for men and women; unique marine metal sculptures; tropical greeting cards and prepackaged gourmet foods for flavor and flare. Also new to the Village is Island Escape Massage and Day Spa is now open at 412 Brevard Ave (located between Space Coast Crafters and Bank of America). They offer massage therapy and day spa services. They also will begin enrolling for evening couples massage classes soon. The spa is open Monday - Friday from 10 - 5 p.m. Evening and Saturday appointments are also available by appointment and walk-ins are welcomed. Gift certificates are available year round. Join Julie Njus from Sonshine Crafts on a four night Bahama Cruise sailing from Port Canaveral to the exciting ports of Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas. As a practicing craft instructor, Julie has developed and taught a variety of craft classes for more than 25 years. The levels of instruction on the cruise will vary from beginners to advanced. Julie is a very patient instructor, and will be more than happy to instruct a beginner in an advanced technique. They will be creating wonderful projects to help you get a "jumpstart" on your Christmas Holidays of 2007.

On February 10th, from 7 - 10pm, the Brevard Achievement Center will present "An Evening of Coffee and Chocolate" at the Cocoa Civic Center. There will be live jazz, silent and live auctions, a celebrity cookie decorating contest and of course coffees, decadent chocolates and deserts.
